I'm a painter and teacher who has called San Francisco home for 13 years. I studied fine arts at San Francisco State University and graduated in 2009, and continue to show work in galleries across the US and in print internationally. In 2018 I expanded my practice to include both publicly-funded and private-commission murals.
My work addresses the relationship between humans and the landscape. I depict moments of beauty that are often overlooked in an urban setting. Living in San Francisco for the past 13 years, I take inspiration from the imagery around me. It is a celebration of the aesthetic harmony in an environment that is both urban and natural. The imagery in my work is a metaphor for the balance between natural and constructed environments, and the connection and interaction of these realms.
